LONDON
Maurizio trained and qualified in 2008 as a Traditional Hatha Yoga Instructor at the ‘Amrita School of Yoga‘ in London under the expertise and eclectic guidance of Nigel Gilderson and Chris Gladwell. In 2012 he also completed the 500 Hours Teacher Training with Quantum Yoga Lara Baumann, in Goa.
Moreover, Maurizio offers Thai Massage which is a great energy-block release, it has deep effects on the body and mind. Achieved his first training in the late 2012 and the Advanced in 2014, both with Ralf Marzen. And later on continued training with Pichet Boonthume in Chiang Mai.
Over the last decade Maurizio has grown a much more valuable approach to yoga. The fruits of his own discipline and seeking spirit has led him to believe that Yoga has the power to transform people’s desires, needs and point of views towards life into something magic of the utmost importance. His entire being is committed to exploring and meeting those individual needs and on fun and accessible to everyone. As a result, a high percentage of businesses he worked for throughout the past few years and still works for at present is from word of and referrals.
Openly attracted to new forms of movement, Maurizio delved in several different aspects and Asana practices; instinctively drawn to more dynamic, vigorous, yang classes, i.e., Ashtanga, Iyengar, Jivamukti, Dharma Mittra; as well as Kundalini which still practices regularly. However, in order to find and maintain that inner sense of balance, he continue to enjoy the challenge of exploring more gentle, introspective, forms of practice like restorative, ying, Yoga Nidra and Meditation
In addition to Nigel Gilderson and Chris Gladwell, in the course of his sadhana and teaching experience Maurizio has gained the extraordinary opportunity to learn directly from Ashtanga Masters David Swenson and John Scott as well as from London based internationally renown outstanding teachers and long-established members of the yoga community such as Stewart Gilchrist, Georgina Evans, Lara Baumann, Jeff Phenix, Mark Kan, to only name a few. All of whom have deeply enriched his understanding of the principles and the practical application of this ancient, empowering and yet accessible science of wellness in daily life.
Maurizio offers profound gratitude to all his teachers as well as to all the students who keep developing a sincere interest in the pranic awakening practice of yoga, thus increasing a gradual consciousness of the Absolute Reality within and around us.
